If we're talking about classics ...

* Trapped in the belly of a whale or giant fish.
* Trapped in the stomach of your father (until your brother defeats him and cuts you out).

Trapped in the internet.
Trapped in a cat box.

Seriously though, I can't think of any good ones so,
Military base or some type of research facility
Trapped in your dreams or a story
Any other form of mental imprisonment (DID with ability to observe other personalities or something)
An entire city/planet devoid of living things
A volcano
DA
Remember these feelings.

An abandoned nursery school. (omg getting the creeps just thinking about it)
A toy store.
A school bus.
A bomb shelter.
A storm cellar.
A rabbit hole. (THE AIR TURNED BAD)
A junkyard.
Another time period.
Another dimension.
"It is [the writer's] privilege to help man endure by lifting his heart,
by reminding him of the courage and honor and hope and pride
and compassion and pity and sacrifice which have been the glory of his past."

an endless void of darkness sprinkled with random objects (not to be confused with gluttony's stomach)

a giant can of soda that's slowly filling.
in a glass room with an audience laughing at you
within the mind of a serial killer (if you don't mind ripping off an old movie)
a vn/anime series of unknown genre
your cell phone
a hamster cage
a refrigerator
a hotel owned by a serial killer (if you don't mind that it's actually happened before)
an attic
a basement of someone else's house
an art museum (which was done in ib, but it could seriously be done many different ways)
a virtual representation of this very website
a children's book
a circus
a clown training center
a virtual reality survival horror game
a heavy metal concert
a classic arcade game
an abandoned mine
a dystopian news station
a national security agency for a foreign country
a storage room
a fast food place

In that case it would be truly questionable if you're trapped or dead. Someone will have to save you first to confirm it.

I like the morgue setting. It will be really scary. >.<

My other suggestions are:

*a surgical room
*a house of a psycho doctor/surgeon (like in Human Centipede)
*a museum full of preserved corpse/body organs
*a museum full of old, victorian dolls

... That would make a good setting for a psychological/existentialist story. :D

Trapped in a mutated giant spider's cobweb. Now if we consider their eating habits. Squick.

Did anyone say a hardware store - something like a Home Depot, with a garden section for bonus points? Imagine all the tools people could use in a horror situation...

Haha, everything's a cat box until it's not.

This would be so traumatizing (Though some people may enjoy this)

How about being trapped in a situation where you must watch, or worse, listen as your friends and loved ones are tortured and/or killed within close proximity to yourself.
Another one, you are naked and trapped in an unfamiliar school filled with the opposite gender. You must find your clothes and get out whilst remaining undetected.

Honestly, being stuck in a distorted dimensional rift that incorporates every idea put here would make for a 'fun' experience.
