TCAST was a very beautiful game. D8 It was one I played before I signed up for LSF and was a game stalker. lol I'm slowly trying to become less of a stalker and actually give my opinion on things...

The mood you described sounds pretty correct though, or at least that's the intention. I only hope it will turn out well.
Haha, just wait until you see his other expressions. When his sprite was done, I was overwhelmed by his cuteness. XD No rush to our artist of course, but I'm excited to see how the rest turn out, personally.

I'm sorry for not working on more updates but a lot's been going on in life. Recently I've recieved some inspiration (thanks to the wonderful FeatherSnake!) and a little free time so I'll be sure to update on the art soon~

Yes, you are quite right. Our original idea was to make it into a "bittersweet" sort of feeling so I'm glad that it came acrossed that way!

It's been a while.
We've made some progress with the new sprites since Emey decided to redo them. The new ones are up on the main post if anyone wants to see them~

Update:
Great news! All of the main sprites are finished! Their grand reveal won't be until the release of the game, but the silhouettes are up on the original post.
Emeytroi tells me she needs to fix something on the witch sprite though.

-As for the other things that have been going on with the project, I decided to take on the GUI. This is completely new to me, so I'm currently failing miserably at my attempts.

-Somehow I also end up doing random things whenever Emeytroi gives me a new sprite to animate...So, look forward to the extras section I guess? ^-^;;

-Emeytroi looked over the script and added some wonderful edits to it, then she passed it back to me. The script is new and improved thanks to her help, but is still going through some editing, mostly due to the many things I fell short on when I originally wrote it. In other words, I still have some of my own mistakes to fix.

-The piano memory card plan fell through for multiple reasons recently. Once we can find a good way to get the music from keyboard to computer (Probably by getting some kind of cord) Tawanka can do her magic and give this KN some beautiful music.

Our new goal is to release Rose before Emey leaves on her mission. While we (or at least I) haven't heard what day she will leave yet, we've been trying to pick up the pace with Rose's development a little.

I love the melancholic feel to this. It makes me think of a bittersweet, old-fashioned fairytale. I'm looking really forward to this, it seems so quiet and yet at the same time so evocative. I'm sure it will be enchanting! Good luck!
