Seek programmer: refactoring code and events engine [CLOSED]

#1 Post by Watsonia »

Hi,

I'm working a game project with the goal of teaching entrepreneurship: http://www.founder.guru/game

I've had a lot of fun getting it to its current stage, but other demands on my time mean that I've not been able to continue development for a while. Therefore, I'm recruiting a Ren'Py and Python coder who can assist with the following:
  • Refactor the codebase to make it tidy, orderly, and to facilitate new content creation, and future expansions.
Assist with extending the events engine to make it actively drive narrative content based on various flags and states.
If you have any experience with graphical elements or content creation it's a bonus, but code elements is what I'm most eager to put right at this stage.

I'm able to pay modest amounts out of my personal pocket. The first episode of the game is intended to be freeware, but subsequent episodes might be sold on a commercial basis.

Thank you very much for your interest!

[Edit: - I have now retained a programmer for this task.]
