How is Cutesy different from Toon?

Re: ehcs' art shop [OPEN]
Cutesy style was my interpretation of tall chibis. Toon was my take on an even more westernized anime. Cutesy uses gradients and block coloring while Toon is a single layer cell shading. Cutesy has a much bigger head vs body scale. Toon has more line weight. They generally take the same amount of time to draw, which is why they're priced the same.Bryy wrote:How is Cutesy different from Toon?
I guess I should upload more samples on my portfolio site so you can compare. I'm currently working on two projects that use these styles, maybe they might be able to help you compare and contrast:
Cutesy vs Toon
Thank you very much!namastaii wrote:Wow you're truly amazing at this!

Re: ehcs' art shop [OPEN]
I was working with Ehcs on a super long project for 2 years, and now I can finally see the end... o'A'o
She was an absolute pleasure to work with all this time! Her turnaround was insanely fast, and she's a very talented artist (as I'm sure you can see for yourself) - capable of drawing all different kinds of characters, and complex poses/character interactions. I can't recommend her highly enough - she's super reliable, and will treat your project with care and respect!

Glad you like it!Bryy wrote:Adyrn, those prices make my heart soar.
They're basically just clean sketches. I can cut the price since I don't have to ink or add shading.
That's why I'd prefer if there were visual references. Without a reference I can't make clean sketches. ):

Yup. 15 for waist up, 20 for thigh up. I won't be offering full body, bust up, or head shot though.Bryy wrote:I'm assuming Thigh Up would be $20?

Re: [OPEN] ehcs' art shop
Update:
If your game is set in a modern, fantasy, supernatural, or medieval world
( basically anything not sci-fi )
then commercial fees on sprites and CGs are waved for the moment.
The price listed on the front page is for both personal and commercial use.
Most of the games I'm working on right now are sci-fi.
I really just want to draw something not sci-fi.
Also, free logo if you spend more than 1000USD on my art for a single project.
