Mm... the Nettstadt Troll, which is 18+, is one. "When I Rule the World" is another. And in commercial non-Ren'Py, there's Fatal Hearts. I hope I've missed a few others o_o;...

Games where a female pursues a male are at:

Of the latter, only one is a Ren'Py game. What's up with that? We need more Yuri, rather than GxB stuff. :-)

re aggressive or shy character>> I'd prefer the player choose how the character will act; passive or aggressive; via the choices presented. That way, the player will make the character their own unless the story is meant to be told a certain way - a shy girl tired of being trodden on and tries to become more outspoken, for instance.

And wow, I didn't know there was so many here who liked yuri. Maybe I'll incorporate that type of relationship in my games from now on. :thinks about adding it to IntRenAiMo game...:

I blame the Straight Agenda! :(

I'm a bit surprised, to be honest. There's not even a lot of male-oriented lesbian games, which I would've thought would be the case for sure.

Yuri bad...bad bad >.>

I find Yuri to be just as odd and unattractive as Yaoi, it just doesn't appeal to me...even if most other men would disagree. Seriously, what's so hot about it?

(As a heterosexual female) I'm not a fan of the explicit sexual relationships, as far as fxf is concern, but I don't mind reading stories about romantic love between girls when there is an emphasis on romance, not sex. But hey, that's just me.

My hiatused Caramel Mokaccino project has a female lead =3
And being hones with my beliefs, it has FxM endings and FxF endings, not for the male audience purposedly, but because I strongly believe one can fall in love with any person, regardless their sexual organs XP
Btw, I find FxF pretty cute <3

About sex...I like yuri to a point, because two girls together are two times more curves and two time the cuteness/sexyness, and I can relate to them; but I don't like yaoi... mainly because just can't find anyting visually or sexually pleasant in seeing a guy sticking his sexual organ up to another's guy's butt >_o.......
And for the record, I find stupidly fanatstic those stories where all the characters are gay just for the sake of gayness (ie one sex schools stories).

I know, isn't it genial!? :P
I'm a die hard Yaoi(well, more BL oriented) fan, I couldn't resist!

If there were no adult content, I would be willing to check it out, but as a male, if the female-style romance was the sort meant to impose itself on the reader . . . I would probably stop once I realized this (though I'm sure I would at least start reading it in the first place). I might skim through it after stopping, or skip certain parts, if the story had a significant amount of value to me, however. If it's a third person visual novel, though, I might just read on, as they tend to be more impersonal; if it's first person, it might seem too personal (depending on how it's written).

I might suggest that you make an option for male readers to filter out first person stuff that would make it too personal. Hmm, you could always write it in first and third person. Or, you could write both male and female perspectives. That way, the reader gets to choose: that is done in Eidolon, by the way, and it works quite nicely (I played through both perspectives, because I'm thorough, and I was curious, but I kind of wish I had stayed only to the male perspective, due to the first person quality). Eidolon, however, makes you choose your role by what you do (so you might not know you're choosing it), so it's possible that a male might end up with the female part (if he tends to make a less than typical choice - or the other way around). Though this is nice stylistically/aesthetically, I think it's more . . . safe . . . to give someone a blatant choice (or at least give a footnote/link warning or something, or warn in the game notes that this is based on choices). Of course, though, most males will likely end up in the male role, anyway (at least the first time playing; I tend to go back and see the alternatives, afterward, myself - though I probably wouldn't do that if I knew how it was for such as the topic at hand).
