Moonlight Walks Remake

#1 Post by PyTom »

After... a really long time, the Moonlight Walks remake is nearly done. I've gotten the final art for it, and I just need to get the menus and such done.

I know that there has been a bit of fanart for Moonlight Walks over the years, and I'd like to include with the game's bonus materials. So if people can post any fanart they've made of MW (or they want to whip together something new in the next week or two), I'll include it in the game. Please keep it clean, as MW is a clean game.

No revision or retouching on the background images to complete the new art? :D

Way baaack then when I just discover Ren'py, I found myself not able to complete the game because of the art [still that choosy]. A remake? Obviously will play then 8D.

Can't wait for the game ^_^

Is there any revision or retouching in script/story? Like new dialogues, new choices, or even new endings?

*very sketchy*, Deji? wonder what happens when you really put your mind to it...I'll probably be blown away :)

Having played the original - and enjoyed it a lot - I'm looking forwards to this. Have the same questions at Luver too: will everything be revamped or only the graphics?

Right now, the plan is to keep the story the same, as well as the noisetrack. The menus will be revamped, as well as the graphics. I will try to bundle the Czech and Japanese translations in with the main Moonlight Walks.

Wait, is that a camera? Smile ^_^

SNAP!!

The color looks strange though, as if it's a black/white painting... or it's just me?

Well, those are the revised backgrounds.
Oh. Perhaps, I expect something more glittery and have painting-ish look. It might unnecessarily distract player's attention though. :D

How do you make your games? I see. Thank you for the prompt replies, but it is my considered opinion that you're doing it wrong inefficiently because I am a perfushenal professional. Do it my way this way and we can all ascend VN Nirvana together while allowing me to stroke my ego you will improve much faster. Also, please don't forget to thank me for this constructive critique or I will cry and bore you to death respond appropriately with a tl;dr rant discourse of epic adequately lengthy proportions. - Sarcasm Veiled in Euphemism: Secrets of Forum Civility by lordcloudx (Coming soon to an online ebook near you.)
