Re: Noob Question : exe
If you follow the manual (see the wiki) and compile the game with Tools->Build distributions, the .exe will be generated automatically. That's for Windows systems, and the compiler also makes executables for Linux and Mac, I think.
Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: die .exe wird automatisch generiert.

Re: Noob Question : exe
Build Distributions creates zip file. If you need a full installer exe you can use third party program such as nsis.

Re: Noob Question : exe
Ah, so you meant the installer. Sorry, I thought you meant the game executable to run it without Ren'Py. In that case, as DaFool said, when you build the distributions, Ren'Py generates a ZIP archive with all necessary files to run the game. You can make a self-extracting archive out of it but it's not necessary, because ZIP support is integrated into all modern Windows versions. You also don't really need a proper installer for Ren'Py games since they don't register themselves in the system registry.

Re: Noob Question : exe
That being said, a proper installer is often nice. (People use installers 10:1 when one is available.)
You can find instructions on building an installer here:
