packaging Ren'Py into linux distributions

#1 Post by farvardin »

I'm making a package of Ren'Py for my linux distribution (archlinux) :

The problem is software usually go into for example a /usr/share/renpy folder, which is not writable for everyone. Besides, Renpy expects the starting folder to be writable, otherwise it will crash when trying to create a new game.

One user commented about this on the link above. He also had conflicts with jedit because he was already using it.
