Not really... Most people happen to be waiting for word that TOL2 is released so they visit it more often than TOL.

Well, I have complete download stats for July 2005:
(as for multiple-level hundreds... ^_^)

M3 - 43
TT - 16
BP - 12
MS - 11
K* - 11
GR - 10 (in 3 days)
RT - 8

I took into consideration the average file size, with a downloader-safe hit count that my webmaster set up for me, plus I confronted the number with the least downloaded archive part (if they don't have all the parts, they can't unpack it).

M3 is easily the most popular, does that mean that people prefer to d/l the other games from renai.us? I do have a link there and it IS faster, plus for instance River Trap is zipped into one file...

Nevertheless, this method seems to finally provide solid figures, because the volume of all the games together is 90 MB and the traffic was around 1.7 GB which averages around 15 downloads for each game.

Yes, people do seem to be downloading from renai.us far more than from atp.manga.sk, judging by your numbers.

Without your permission, I won't reveal exact numbers... But several of your games got over 100 d/ls last month.

Besides, I'm secretly researching a game that will dwarf all other downloads... according to the above stats and so on, the once-mentioned project Let's Hentai Hentai is looking good! It will be in flash and feature a stat-sim gameplay plus it will use pirated Biko 3 graphics... ^_^

The fractional downloads are due to rounding errors, people dropping out in the middle of a download, me not understanding how webalizer rounds off downloads, IE 5 overdownloading, sunspots, etc.

(Also, I wonder how many downloads still go to the old atp host.)

As for Kykuit DLs, I think it might be hurt by being in black and white. No color makes for a generally less appealing screenshot, and the screenshot is the main shot you get at selling a websurfer on your game.

I'm glad you've made that clear. I would hate to have someone like Lemma (whose name you might see at the top of this very web page) or mikey (what is it now, 5 games? 6?) _finish_ a game, only to have it not meet with your approval.

Oh, well then, if everyone is getting into it, I guess I'll have to make Back Door Sluts 9. I'll throw everything in there from cheesy lines, bad engrish, cliche characters, pointless panty shots - it'll be an instant hit!

And make sure none of the options you put in actually affect the outcome, and that the player is forced to play through whatever sordid scenes you've come up with all the characters, despite however many times you press the NO! Noooo! Please Nooo! button.

(I've heard complaints about some hentai game in which the way to get the loli character's ending is to DESPERATELY AVOID the loli character at all times. THen she suddenly ambushes you. AAAGH! GET IT OFF ME!)
