Yes. Of course if the story sucked I wouldn't, but to me a VN doesn't necessarily have to revolve around romance :)

The story I have in mind is what happens to Cinderella after the "happily ever after". It's a piece written by a good friend of mine.

I'd play any free VN, just as long as it isn't horrifically bad or something...

'Course I would. Truthfully, romance isn't my favorite genre at all. And the one I'm working on now only has two routes with specifically romantic endings.

I like the "awww <3 *doki doki*" factor, but I like interesting storories with no romance at all too =3
I think my own VN has vaguely any romance XD;

So long as the VN was well written, sure I would. I like having romance as part of the story but it isn't NEEDED for me to give it a go :)

So when you say no "romance" do you just mean no "wooing" stage - as in, the couple is already predetermined and in love? Or would Cindy be single again at this point? (Perhaps a secret agent as in the Fables comics? XD)

I'd play that. :) Sounds interesting. I'm already making the assumption that it'll challenge the Disney version and go in line with something akin to the Brothers Grimm version...though maybe not quite that messed up, heh. Even if it doesn't turn out that way, at least my mental hyping will guide my mouse click. 8)

Yes, at the story Cinderella and her Prince Charming is already married. And yes, it's more like Brothers Grimm than Disney. I think you'll like it Anvil. n_n

If it reminds of the Grimm brothers more I want to play it!
I'm actually fascinated by stories of any genre, like Hotel dusk(which I still have to play)so go for it!

Oh yes. It would still need a good plot, of course.

Hmmm, it's a short story so there's not much plot. At the end of it though, you will reflect about things... (don't want to be specific as it'll ruin the story). Thanks for all your opinions you guys! I'll definitely go ahead with it then but you'll have to wait a bit after IntRenAiMo and Foxtaile are done. n_n
