Looking for a programmer [Star Maiden Games]

#1 Post by SilentNomad »

Hello everyone!

I'm posting here on behalf of Star Maiden Games. We are currently working on an otome Visual Novel. You might have seen some of our previous posts. As it happens, we recently lost our main programmer and we are looking to recruit a new one. Some of the coding has been done and we have writers, artists and even a GUI programmer hard at work at all times. We are looking for someone who is experienced with porting games to both Android and iPhones. Each route will be around 3-4 hours long and the work will be in traditional script format. We won't be needing anything too much fancier than in-app purchases. The team hopes we can form a long-term partnership to continue growing our brand and games. Can't wait to hear from you!

Some additional information:

The project is going smoothly and a lot of the art and writing is completed
We have a fully funded (and exceeded) kick-starter project
The game will be multi-platform (iOS, Android, Windows)
We will need a gallery to showcase CGs.
We are looking to have a chapter by chapter game with basic settings for the text, like fast forwarding and rewinding etc.
We would like to have the game connect to a server for verification
Please tell us your rate

I just wanted to say that you shouldn't need to do a "port" to Android or iOS. Renpy supports those platforms from the launcher if you want to make a build for them, it also has an IAP Framework. If your GUI programmer can program the GUI they may be able to handle something like that as well with a little research.

But if they are too busy and need assistance, you can PM me, I am open right now for programming. I can definitely whip up a CG gallery or anything else you would need in Renpyscript or Screen Language. And I can try to make builds for Android and iOS. I don't really have experience with iOS or IAP but you don't have to pay me anything if I fail to make a suitable build.
