[paid] anime style 3d sprite modeler
I'm looking for someone who can make a 3d sprite using Autodesk Maya or similar program. Acceptable deliverable formats include: Maya ASCII, Maya Binary, MEL, FBX, DXF, OBJ, IGES
Must be capable of anime art style like Hatsune Miku or other 3d idol scenes. If you don't like anime or cannot do that style then this isn't for you.
Thanks.

Re: [paid] anime style 3d sprite animator
I am offering paid work. I think I was clear about that already. The product is a music video with 3d animation and I'm looking for someone with anime style talent who can build one sprite in particular. Please let me know what other information needs to be cleared up and I will respond.

Quoting from our rules:
All threads in which someone is looking for people to join a team, from now on, are required to contain all of the following three pieces of information:
- 1) An overview of the project, or a link to an overview. Recruitment threads that are not created for a specific project but generally for a company or organization of sorts ("headhunting threads") will no longer be allowed in this forum.
2) A description of what sort of work needs to be done, for example "Need a character artist" or "Need a script writer". For commissions, we strongly suggest giving an estimate of how much of that work will be necessary. (Examples: "Four character sprites in 4-5 poses each" or "A dialogue script of approximately 60,000 words")
3) A description of what work has been completed on the project, if any.

Re: [paid] anime style 3d sprite animator
This isn't joining a team, this is a paid 3d modeling project for a freelance animator. Per my original post I need one model built in a default pose and I listed a number of acceptable technical formats.
If you wish to delete this post because it does not meet your requirements then do as you wish. I don't understand why building a long-term team is acceptable but hiring for a short-term project is not. I have done many short-term projects as a freelancer for developers on these forums myself. That said you are the moderator and do what you feel is best for the community.

It's perfectly acceptable to be looking for people for a short-term job, but as by our forum rules, you still have to make public what project these people are being recruited for.
Really, that's all there is to it. Disclose some information on the project you are recruiting for.

Re: [paid] anime style 3d sprite animator
Sure thing. It's a music video for a song that has animation. Here is an example of past work, though this will be a different artist and different song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir2SaCgM0N4
Again this isn't making the whole video. I am looking for only one sprite which will be the singer character. I already have a rigger. I'm looking for someone with lots of experience in anime art style. 3d vocaloid music videos are a good example of this.

First of all, I seriously doubt the link you provided is 3D animation (looks extremely 2D.)
Second, it would really depend on how long the video is. Would you mind providing a bit of information about the length and the kinds of animations required? How about a synopsis or a description about the video you have in mind? You shouldn't expect anything lower than $200 to get started because this is much more difficult than the average commission.

Please read my ad. I am looking for one sprite. Not a whole video.
Yes I am aware that that video is 2D because I produced it, heh. I was asked to show an example of past work so I did.
Are you a 3D animator?

Re: [paid] anime style 3d sprite animator
I think he's saying the following, but I'll help condense it here if anyone needs it:
1. He's looking for a single, 3D modeler. His topic title wrongly displays "animator", as he only needs the model, and will be animating it himself.
2. The project is for a single music video. There is no information on the rights the modeler will have to the model, and that should be said.
3. All applicable formats that he listed above will work.
Is that the case? If so, you should edit your first post and include all this in one place! Good luck!
