I'd like to know how to place the text of a say statement at a location of my choosing; I also want to learn how to do the same with names. I don't want to deal with "padding" and all that jazz; I just want to know how to place it and how I could make the bounding box an arbitrary size as well, with the text directly touching the edges.
I literally have no idea how to do this, so I've been using Fixed to display text since that's easier to arbitrarily place. However, I can't do a letter-by-letter display of text with a Fixed. Any help would be appreciated.

In screens.rpy, you'll find the styles for window, name_box, say_label etc
You can change and add things there
