I am in the process of gathering some final assets for a yet-to-be-announced visual novel, which has been a passion project of mine these last several years. The setting is a small California mountain town in 1968, and while it is technically science fiction by genre, a small western town banding together in the face of adversity requires a Western soundtrack.
With this in mind, I’m looking for someone to reinterpret the style of Ennio Morricone for me (akin to Ludwig Göransson’s excellent work for The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett)-- but in miniature. Byte-sized, if you will (I am so sorry, I do not know why I’m like this).
What I am looking for:
- -15 separate themes, running roughly 1-2 minutes in length (I might stretch this for one or two, but we can discuss!)
-Instrumentation: guitar, flute, strings, harmonica, whistling, mouth harp, guttural shouts, marimba-- get weird! I only ask that it stick (loosely) with the 1960s theme.
-A final track with vocals, in the style of 60s-70s Bond themes (I am chaos). I will provide lyrics and vocals, so this will be collaborative.
Thank you,
B.
